About
In high school I did exceptionally well juggling extracurricular activities while earning A's in all of my classes. I did so by working smarter, not harder. This meant learning what type of learner I was and adjusting my study skills accordingly. This led me to be successful in future classes I took.
In college I mastered my science, including anatomy & physiology, chemistry, neuroscience, psychology, and biology. I also did very well in my math courses such as algebra and calculus, earning A's in both.
I love helping students as both a tutor and mentor. I have tutored fellow students at my university, as well as aided my high school's tutoring program during the summer. I would love to continue serving my community by being an aid for students who might need a little extra help.
I love watching students transform into confident young people, unafraid to tackle any academic obstacle before them. Reaching that level of confidence requires great educators, supportive parents, and an awesome tutor!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will first give the student a short quiz to assess what they know and what we will need to work on. I will then find the student's preferred learning style. Based on this, I will set up guides, practice problems, etc. to help them obtain the highest grade possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Years of experience taking science and math courses
Tutor in Mesquite ISD tutoring program during summer
Assistant teacher at Head Start in Mesquite
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students who have slightly struggled with certain topics in their classes and students who have failed entire courses. I have the ability to adjust my study plans for each type of student and those in between.
