I cannot seem to put into words how much Liz has helped (and continues to help) my son. Finding her has made the difference between a timid, shy but intelligent kid who had no confidence in himself who is blossoming into a confident and successful student. During the 2022-2023 school year, John tutored our two children (junior and freshman in high school). John quickly got to know our children during their separate sessions and built a strong rapport with both of them. Our children are very different types of learners, and John found ways to successfully engage and support each of them. Our daughter said, "He is so flexible and willing to adjust what we are working on to what we actually need help with. We set the agenda together. He also really values our ideas and takes the time to ask us what we think." Our son explained, "He helps walk me through things instead of just telling me how to do something. Sometimes that's harder in the moment because I have to think more, but then when I go to do something on my own on a test or for an assignment, it's much easier. I have really learned how to do the things he has shown me and I am much more confident that I can do them on my own." As a parent, John has been incredibly professional.
