Tutoring
About
I graduated my highschool with an IB diploma and am now working towards a BS at OSU with a focus in pre-pharmacy which invlolves a lot of chemistry. I took standard level IB chem as my elective in highschool along with bio and math.
I want to help people learn and understand the content so that it makes sense to them. I know that math and science can be difficult subjects but they don't have to be. My only tutoring experience at this point has been peers and siblings but I am patient and can work with many age groups.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We would outline the goals of the student and the steps to get there. After that I will help the student throughout the process of their goal and go from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a counselor for Outdoor school. This required me to look after and teach 6th grade students. I was also a youth soccer referee for 4 years which has given me a lot of experience working with elementary and middle school age kids and explaining complex ideas like offside in an easy to understand way.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing is $30 an hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I have often given extra homework help to my classmates and younger siblings. I value education and want to be able to give back.
What types of students have you worked with?
So far I have only informally worked with 3rd grade-1st year college students. I have not worked with Special needs students or ELL/ESL students before.
