About
I have experience tutoring students of all ages in math and science as well as in standardized test prep. I tutored throughout high school and college and also worked for a tutoring company upon graduation. I graduated from Yale University in 2019 with a bachelor of science in Chemical Engineering. When not working, I enjoy reading, going to the gym, practicing muay thai, and spending time outdoors.
I strongly believe in customizing my tutoring sessions to best fit each student’s needs and ensure they get the most out of each lesson. Our sessions will be a collaborative process and I’d be happy to communicate with everyone – including parents, teachers, counselors etc. – to ensure that students are able to achieve their maximum potential with a team of support behind them each step of the way.
I love helping students have their "ah-ha" moment where something clicks and I understand that for many learning is more difficult that ever due to restrictions and lessons changes caused by the pandemic. I am eager to help students adjust during these difficult times and excel in school.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Prior to our first session, I will send you a folder on google drive that we will use to share resources and documents for each session.
During the first session we will discuss your goals and concerns for whichever topic we are discussing. We will outline a timeline (noting when important tests, projects etc.) are coming up and then we will get to work!
Following each session I will send you (or your parents) an email recapping what was covered during the session if desired.
Most importantly each session will be tailored to fit you!

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My usual rate is $45-65/hour for math and science topics and $60/hour for standardized test prep.
If you know other people who are in the same class or want to work on the same material I also do group tutoring at a discounted rate!
2 people = $40/hour per person
3 people = $35/hour per person
4+ people = I usually try to cap each session at 3 people but if you're interested in sessions of this size feel free to reach out to me and we can discuss it!
