Kyrie B. says, "I worked with Chidubem over the summer for Java tutoring because I wanted to learn it before I took my Data Structures class next semester and she was great! I learned more about coding with Java with her than I learned from my literal college class. I am so happy I found her as a tutor. She's great!" Read more

Since I love teaching, I enjoy while with the students. I have a lot of patience to listen to students. Usually, I listen to the students most of the time. I started tutoring in India first. When I say something to my students it touch their hearts and mind. I love helping people in general. It does not matter who they are. I love to guide them. I love to listen their stories. The more I listen to them the more it is easier to guide them. I started counseling people including students here and overseas. Majority of students are not sure what they want....

Having taught mathematics for 20+ years at overseas school I’ve returned to the US to be closer to family. While teaching at both competitive and inclusion schools I gained experience teaching from grades 6 to 12 at all levels of maths. My main expertise is with the International Baccalaureate but I have tutored students in other curriculum. My passion is helping students strengthen their math abilities by determining where their ‘gaps’ are, solidifying their mathematics base knowledge or skills, and then building their understanding upon this foundation.

Reviews for Rockville math tutors

Recent success stories from people in the Rockville area.
Amelia N.
Chidubem has been tutoring my daughter since February this year, and she has been more than amazing. She helped us with Algebra, Biology, and SAT prep tutoring, and my daughter has been getting much higher scores and feeling way more comfortable with school since we started with her. She got an A in both classes (she had struggled with getting A's in Math before) and a 1410 on her SAT (up from 1250 in her PSAT!!). We had a tutor before Chidubem, but unfortunately, they were not able to form the relationship Chidubem had created with her. I am honestly so insanely grateful for Chidubem; she has made my daughter much more interested in school and studying in general and she is just amazing. I HIGHLY recommend her!!!
