I am Genevieve Gravesande who is a license grade 7 - 12 mathematics teacher by the state of New York with 20+ years teachingexperience. I am enthusiastic to be your math mate. I am eager and love to teach mathematics to young scholars. The scholars in my target group are grades 5 to 9. When I teach scholars I am student-centered because I need the scholars to understand and apply their learning in a variety of ways. In my tutorials I encourage scholar discussion and provide hands-on examples. I provide feedback to parents and scholars frequently to ensure their goal are achieved.

Founded in 2008, Learning Resource Center, Inc., located in Mount Kisco, NY, is not just a tutoring service. Led by New York State-certified learning specialists, the center specializes in assisting children with learning disabilities such as dyslexia and ADHD. The center provides individual tutoring in reading, writing, spelling, organization, study skills, math, and test preparation. The team believes in collaborating with parents, teachers, and therapists to ensure academic success for each student. The Learning Resource Center is also known for its school consultations and parent seminars on educational topics.
