I am a math tutor with 22 years of experience. I am also a certified high school math teacher.
I have assisted students with every different math course from pre-algebra to Differential equations. I can also assist students with programming or physics.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I talk to the student and determine their goals and current approach. We then sit down and brake down previous problems in order to discover pit falls that we can work on. This allows us to determine a plan and approach for all future learning.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
2 decades of assisting students with math. Everything from pre-algebra through differential equations was covered during this time.
I am also a licenced high school math teacher.

How did you get started teaching?
I have always been a teacher. During school, I would sit in the back of class and assist my peers with any questions or difficulties they had. This earned me my first job when I tutored a peer in SAT prep. I continued to assist both peers and younger students during High School and College. Every year since I have aided students with their math skills.
