I'm 71 (as of late 2025), retired, and have lived 35 years in China. In 1978 I was certified to teach secondary-level math in Pennsylvania, but I've taught a lot more English than math, especially to native Chinese. I love kids, and my wife and I reared orphans there for many years. I even tutored my youngest Chinese foster son in his junior-high-level Chinese math (which is a lot harder than the same level math in the U.S.), but mostly I taught and tutored English.
