I hold Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees with honors in Piano Pedagogy and Performance and have worked one-on-one with students of all ages and ability levels for more than 50 years. My extensive teaching experience has given me the patience and communication skills needed to help students succeed in math. I specialize in breaking concepts down into clear, manageable steps so students understand not only how to solve a problem, but why the process works. My goal is to build confidence, understanding, and independence so students can successfully solve problems on their own.

I started college at the age of 14 in dual enrollment and completed two associates at the same time as high school earning valedictorian in all three. I then went on to complete a bachelors in physics with minors in math and chemistry. I have been tutoring since I was 16 and hope to become a professor one day. The approach I take depends on the students needs, I do fully believe any student can get an A in their course however most teachers only tailor to the average teaching style. I spend the first few days identifying what learning profile a student has as well as the proficiency in their subject in order to create the best study methods.
