I am a retired teacher with 25+years of experience teaching elementary special and general education classes. I specialize in helping children with dyslexia learn to read and comprehend increasingly difficult text. I currently tutor and care for kids with developmental disabilities. I love the variety of having multiple students and getting to know them and how they learn best. I started college at the age of 14 in dual enrollment and completed two associates at the same time as high school earning valedictorian in all three. I then went on to complete a bachelors in physics with minors in math and chemistry. I have been tutoring since I was 16 and hope to become a professor one day. The approach I take depends on the students needs, I do fully believe any student can get an A in their course however most teachers only tailor to the average teaching style. I spend the first few days identifying what learning profile a student has as well as the proficiency in their subject in order to create the best study methods.
