I started tutoring Algebra over the phone when I was in junior high, and I kept tutoring math through high school. My first job after college was as a high school math teacher and learning center math tutor. I have since taught art and worked in education more broadly. I also am an education researcher and am writing about mathematical processes. I love helping others find that appreciation for their own way of thinking, their own way of learning, that makes the most sense for them.
