I am a seasoned ESL teacher, having taught teens and adults for over 10 years. I hold a MA in Adult Education. English can be an intimidating language to learn and I like to make it an easy and fun learning experience.

My name is Jacob Edwards. I currently serve as the Academic Director at Hampshire Country School, a small boarding school in New Hampshire. I have taught English, History, and some lower level math classes. I love novels, enjoy helping people with essays, and am always interested in helping with homework.

I teach English, Writing, Music (instrumental and vocal), Theater, Art, and History grades 1 through 12. I was a certified English, History and Fine Arts teacher in Massachusetts for over 30 years teaching in public school, private school for behavior challenged students and Performing Arts Schools. I have tutored students individually and in small groups as well as working with home schooled children in the creative arts.

I am a licensed special education teacher with 13 years experience working in the field. I have a degree in elementary studies and a graduate degree in Special Education and Autism Spectrum disorders. I have worked with students in grades 2 through 8 in the areas of reading, writing, math and self advocacy/independence. I get to know each student individually and make learning engaging and fun. I provide in depth learning experiences that allow students to dive deeper and use critical thinking while growing independent skills and accomplishing academic goals.
