My teaching career has been in public schools as well as private. I have a: BA from Duke University and two MEds from Boston College. I have had over fifteen years experience working with children aged three and higher. I love learning new things every day as well as teaching skills and content knowledge needed for academic success.

I taught English 15 years at Noble and Greenough school, mostly to juniors and seniors. I developed an approach to writing designed to address students' dislike of writing as meaningless hoop-jumping; instead, i think the creative apaect of all writing, even essays on literature, is essential. Finally, my hope is that every student recognizes the importance of his or her voice as unique, and that it deserves to be refelcted in writing. Having retired from teaching, I sit at home with my two newly adopted kittens, Pish and Brio, and spend hours writing. I couldn't be happier.
