I am a certified Spanish teacher, and an ESL teacher. I have taught all grades pre-K -12th in public and private schools. I have taught all levels of proficiency and conversational classes for over 25 years. After our first session, which will be a one on one meeting, we can decide to zoom or meet in person. I am available early evenings.

I love teaching reading to elementary and middle school students who need extra instruction and practice with reading fluency, phonics, spelling or comprehension. I have a M.Ed in Special Education, Wilson certification, OG training and 17 years exp as a reading specialist in a public school. I have a: BA from Duke University and two MEds from Boston College. I have had over fifteen years experience working with children aged three and higher. I love learning new things every day as well as teaching skills and content knowledge needed for academic success.

I provide personalized lesson plans catered to the person's individual preference or needs based on the information I'm provided with. I love teaching and going over problems with students and clients. It's important to help them to look at the subject in a way that will make it easier to understand and enjoy. That way, it will be easier to remember and apply to whatever is needed to succeed.
