I have been an award-winning educator for over 50 years. I love the acts of teaching and learning and conversation and communication. I bring enthusiasm and passion to each session. I am now retired, but love to “stay in the game” through tutoring.

My service stands out because of my dedication and patience when working with studens. Although relatively new to the field, I have experience working with a wide-range of learners and have been able to be successful in working with students, despite the challenges they face as learners. I most enjoy watching my students grow in confidence. Witnessing the evolution and transformation of my students into confident learners is extremely fulfilling. I have been in the field of education for the past 7 years. I worked as a paraprofessional for 2 years prior to becoming a special education teacher. I am currently a special education teacher in Billerica and I work with high school students with disabilities. Although I work in a high school setting I have experience with elementary and middle school curriculum.

I am a special education teacher in Boston, Ma. I have been teaching now for 4 years. With a high school diploma, bachelors degree in psychology and a masters degree in special education, I am given the skills to support students in their journey to success. I enjoy watching students grow and learn from all different areas! Whether it may be academics, social skills or life skills!

I am a former school teacher and have worked with students of all ages. I love to help people learn. I have worked with students of different cultural backgrounds and students who are learning English. My approach is positive and I try to help students reach their goals.

I have taught middle school for 13 years (English Language Arts, Special Education) and have co-taught various core subjects at the 6th grade level. I attained my Bachelor's Degree in English, with minors in Secondary Ed and Ethnic Studies, and I hold a Master's Degree in Special Education (for grades 5-12). I am currently finishing my undergrad while starting a master’s degree in Applied Economics. Additionally, I play badminton at a high level and continue to train full time. I have many years of experience coaching kids to both professional and recreational standards. I have lived in China and am constantly surrounded by different cultures. One of my biggest strengths is understanding that everyone learns differently.
