Speech, English And Elementary Tutoring
About
As a current Speech-Language Therapy student, I have the skills needed to tutor with multitudes of different language, speech and English abilities. I also have experience babysitting and working in a school-setting with children from ages 2-11. Through working with many different children, I am able to tutor subjects of science, math, social studies and reading in elementary aged children. I am currently working on a research project at the University of South FL, investigating the benefits of oral narrative language intervention. My school accomplishments include presenting research, joining multiple honors societies and becoming the philanthropy chair for my sorority and raising money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. I have been working with children and providing homework help for over 5 years now, and hope to continue this until I reach my career goal of a Speech-Language Therapist.
I enjoy helping children reach their developmental milestones and seeing sucess in the students! I have always had a passion for working with children and love to see progress made. I knew I wanted to go into the field of Speech-Therapy due to the vast amount of children and families I can work with in the future.
