About
I am an experienced high school teacher (12-years) turned college professor (6-years) who consistently gets excellent results. I had some of the higest scores in my district and state for the AP Language and AP Art History test. I have taught many different levels of students, from struggling to gifted. I am dedicated, attentive and practically-minded and am excellent at modeling a process-oriented approach. I have a Bachelor's and Master's degree in English, attending both Fordham University and the University of South Florida. See my profile at:

I love helping students to see their potential and to reach their goals while forming relationships in the process. Watching students succeed when they thought they couldn't has been one of the most satisfying parts of my job (and my life).
