Lexi Hampton Tutoring

Hi, I'm Lexi! I'm a well rounded 17 year old student who attends clubs, volunteers, works part-time at Starbucks, and continues to excel in school. I currently have a 4.0 GPA and attend 2 AP classes as well as a college English class, so I'm well versed in many subjects but especially English and Language Arts. I also thrive when it comes to standardized testing and have always consistently passed every state test and quarterly. When it comes to higher education, I am already a third of the way to my Associate's degree and should graduate high school come next year with my AA. I truly am a social butterfly and love kids because I too am a kid at heart. I believe a bond should be established in order to effectively connect with a child through teaching and that is what I set out to do first and foremost. I definitely most enjoy the look on a child's face when a topic finally clicks for them. It's such a pure moment and I strive to always see that look on their face at least once every time we meet. Building relationships when teaching is so important because the child needs to feel comfortable learning and knowing it's ok to not always grasp things right away. I let them make mistakes but most importantly, learn from them and grow!
