Amanda Balash Tutoring

Hello! I am a third-year medical student at Florida Atlantic University's Schmidt College of Medicine and a part of their MedDirect BS/MD Pipeline Program. I attended Florida Atlantic University as a National Merit Scholar, graduating summa cum laude with a 3.98 GPA, majoring in Biological Sciences.

I have an extensive background in teaching and tutoring in chemistry. I worked for 2 years at Florida Atlantic University in the Chemistry Department, teaching the discussion portion of General Chemistry 1 and 2. I worked with students in both group settings, giving review lectures of content, and in individual settings during office hours.

I am a National Merit Scholar, scoring a 1470 on my PSAT and 1490 on my SAT. I scored a 511 (80th percentile) on my MCAT, achieving this result with under 2 months of self-preparation.
