I am currently a professor specializing in Energy Management and Building Automation Systems, and with over 17 years of experience as a math tutor supporting students across various levels. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Master's in Business Administration, and a Master's in Early Childhood Education. My diverse academic background and long-standing teaching and tutoring experience allow me to adapt to different learning styles, explain complex concepts clearly, and help students build both confidence and mastery in their subjects.

Hello my name is David Duarte! im originally from miami and now im attending the University of Central Florida. I am currently in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering holding a 4.0 GPA. With the skills I obtained as a learning assistant with the UCF mathematics department I am able to cater my teaching style to meet the needs of anyone. I understand math can be difficult and sometimes frustrating but I strongly believe my combination of professionalism and relatability will help you or your child succeed.

Make the math relatable and relevant. Talk to the students in such a way that builds the love of learning by being successful where they previously struggled and became frustrated. I get excited when the student has there "ah hah" moment and they realize that it is easier than they thought. Their confidence grows and then their courage to venture where they previously ran from the unknown.
