My greatest passion in life is teaching. I was born and raised in San Diego and experienced great success at school due to amazing and unforgettable teachers. This is the foundation of my commitment to helping out students like me, whatever their abilities may be. I have been tutoring and teaching for 14 years in various settings – tutoring small and large groups, private individual tutoring, and teaching in classrooms and home settings.
The thing I like most about tutoring is the students. I love interacting with them, I love learning from them, I love helping them understand the content of any course and I love when they see the connection between what they are learning and their lives.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Our first lesson is centered around finding out what the student already knows, and where the holes are in their mathematical knowledge so I can determine what to focus on. We also speak about the student’s goals and then plan a way forward for them to best succeed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been tutoring Elementary, Middle and High-School students this year, and am prepared with written, audio and interactive materials.
