Currently a practicing mechanical engineer in the fields of Energy Generation, HVAC, and MEP with a passion for teaching. I'm motivated to help the next generation of engineers & scientists and have been offering tutoring services in mathematics/physics for a combined 6 years (3 yrs in college and 3 privately). I enjoy making difficult subjects more accessible and helping people build confidence in their own capabilities with math/science. I like finding solutions to problems. I also like to help people find solutions to their problems. I have fun when I know what I'm doing. With this, I know what I'm doing. Even if I don't know a subject, I am a fast learner and I apply my knowledge through running it back through others.

Hello, my name is Nick Kerzie, I am a High School math teacher at San Marcos High School. I have been teaching Algebra and Statistics for the last seven years. I don’t believe there is such a thing as a “not math person”! If you are able to recognize patterns and give yourself a little grace you have the ability to succeed in math! I am enthusastic and encouraging with all students I work with! My goal as a tutor is, not only for students and parents to see tangible results, but for students to feel confident and excited about learning!
