You will be paired with the founder, Vincent, who has 5000+(!) hours experience tutoring young people from Prealgebra through Multivariable calculus. Earning his Bachelor's in Mathematics and his Master's in Higher Education, his credentials reflect his in-depth knowledge of the education system in general. Needless to say, you will be in good hands :)

I had been struggling in my math class in high school, so I looked around for a a math tutor. I was unsure about whether I would have a tutor who understood everything that I was doing and could answer all the questions I had. This was also the first time that I was going to a tutor, so I didn’t know how it was going work. Working with Vincent helped me to become a focused math student, and as a result my grades got much better. I also began to have a true understanding of the math I was learning. I also developed a relationship with Vincent where I was comfortable working with him and talking with him. He became a mentor and someone I could go to for advice. I would gladly vouch for Vincent any day of the week, and I believe that there are so many students who could benefit from working with Vincent. Working with Vincent certainly helped make math fun for me!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

In essence, it's a highly tailored experience. With my students, I(Vincent) emphasize that becoming a strong student may take time. Through conversations with both the student and their parent(s) about their academic progress, I then work with them to find the best methods of instruction for their particular situation.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

My experience has directly prepared me for full-time tutoring. I hold a Bachelors in Mathematics and Masters in Higher Education & Student Affairs, both from Indiana University.

While at IU, I served as Assistant Coordinator for the university's on-site academic support center. Previously, I worked as an undergraduate tutor focusing on both Mathematics and College Writing.

Furthermore, I have worked in the ed tech startup field specifically on websites geared towards college prep.
