Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I generally sit down with the student and dicuss what their struggling with as well as what their goal is. This allows us to create a game plan for each tutoring session. Discussing where each student is at academically and where they want to be helps me form an analysis of their overall needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an honor student at Cal State University, Fullerton. I have maintained honor roll status and a high GPA (3.5) the whole time I've been at CSUF. I am majoring in Kinesiology, which foucses heavily on the human body and its processes. I am well educated in the subjects of anatomy, physiology, biology, pre-algebra, algebra 1 and writing. I often hold study groups with peers for my classes and am comfortable teaching people new or difficult concepts.
