Charul V. says, "Kayle is an absolutely amazing tutor. For background, my son took high school geometry over the summer so he could get a level ahead in math before the school year. The course was extremely fast paced (6 weeks) and completely online, with no instructor teaching the material. Students were expected to learn everything on their own by reading online instructions and and taking practice tests, which made it especially challenging. Kayle made all the difference. She has an incredible ability to explain difficult concepts in a way that finally “clicks.” She was patient, encouraging, and always made sure my son truly understood the material instead of just memorizing how to solve a problem. She was also very responsive and flexible with scheduling. But what really impressed me was how much she went above and beyond. Before each session, she would ask which topics my son was struggling with (he sent screen shots of the problems) so she could prepare in advance and make the most of their time together. She even created and shared Google Classroom documents with additional resources and notes so he could continue reviewing concepts between sessions and as the course progressed. We ended up booking five sessions with Kayle, and I honestly believe my son would not have earned an A without her. Before working with her, I think we were probably headed toward a C. Her guidance, preparation, and ability to build his confidence completely changed the outcome. I cannot recommend Kayle highly enough. She is knowledgeable, organized, professional, and genuinely invested in her students’ success. We will absolutely be using her again in the future, and I know she will be an amazing teacher. Thank you again Kyle! You are the best!" Read more

I'm a semi-retired software engineer. My experience covers a wide range of the software development spectrum. I worked for decades as a senior and leading software engineer in many hi-tech companies. Over the past few years, I have literally helped tens of Computer Science/Software Engineering students ranging in grade from very young, 7-8 year old, students whose parents wanted to learn programming to PHD students. I also helped many middle and high school math students, especially with Algebra. It gives me a great pleasure and satisfaction watching my students grow and advance in knowledge and competence in the subject matter being covered.

Corey K. says, "As a mathematician, I know and appreciate a personalized approach to learning mathematics. We hired Mike to help us augment our efforts as well as go beyond what our son is learning in school (1st grade). Our goal is to help our son learn and love mathematics and explore its wonders beyond the unfortunate school curriculums. Mike's experience in tutoring and knowledge of mathematics has been compelling. He is also very patient and has lots of tricks up his sleeve in order to ensure a personalized learning experience. I recommend him to anyone who not only wants their kid to improve on what they are required to learn at school (which is a lot of the boring stuff) as well as get introduced to things that can really get them to engage the subject." Throughout my years in school, I really enjoyed learning and teaching mathematics. I would always study my lessons enough to the point where I could comfortably teach them to someone else - this led to me taking on multiple positions as a K-12 Math Tutor. In the six years I have been tutoring math, the most enjoyable moment is seeing my students come to understand something they did not quite understand. I think the best part of the job is when I hardly need to make any corrections because that is how I know my students will do well. I see this as a win-win situation!

Mrs. Bradarich is a natural born teacher. My children went to the same school (Carden Academy) where Mrs. Bradarich taught for many years. My children have expressed how deeply they appreciate the education they received at Carden Academy. They have also mentioned that many of their college professors and employers have commented how impressed they are with their obtained knowledge. It is a basic education that Mrs. Bradarich can deliver. Sadly, Carden Academy is no longer. I observe the weak education that my grandson (Tyler) is currently receiving; therefore, I asked Mrs. Bradarich to tutor him. What progress Tyler has made in Math, Language, Composition, and Cursive Handwriting! His confidence is improving, as well as his attitude towards school in general, as he experiences success. He loves Mrs. Bradarich, he loves to learn...he is happy, and I am, too!

My son's worst subject is math. Unfortunately math is also my worst subject. There came a point where I could no longer help him with his assignments. He went into high school not really prepared for math. (8th grade was distance learning year). We are thankful for Mr. Vermilye because he not only goes over assignments, but also reviews concepts that he needs help with. He also goes over concepts that he will learn further on in the semester. During exams and finals, Mr. Vermilye helps with extra zoom classes and is available through text when my son has a question. He has been invaluable in my son's learning!
