Toby Horner

Hi there! My name is Toby Horner, currently located in Shoreline, WA. I provide tutoring in the areas of Mathematics and Computer Science, as well as interview preparation for software development roles and internships. I began tutoring in 2009 as a peer and private tutor while attending the University of Hawaii at Hilo, where I graduated with a B.A. in Mathematics and B.S. in Computer Science. I've since worked in a variety of roles, most recently as a Software Engineer at Google (where I conducted numerous interviews). I'm happy to work with kids as well as people of any age, whether it be with Math homework, technical interview prep, or help using Excel. I absolutely love tutoring, teaching, and coaching, and I live for those "Aha!" moments when a concept finally makes sense after approaching it from a different direction. In my free time, I enjoy playing Ultimate Frisbee and Disc Golf, as well as board and video games. Thanks for reading, I look forward to meeting and working with you!
