Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Many students fall behind and need individualized help. Students can enroll in a Student Support class for a couple of hours per week or enroll full-time to address more significant concerns. The nature of the enrollment depends on the student’s needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our instructors all have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree and many have or are working towards Masters Degrees and beyond.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$90.00 per hour with a minimum of 12 sessions
What types of students have you worked with?
We work with students who need additional academic support and student who are gifted and are looking for a more accelerated curriculum. We specialize in working with neurodiverse students and support those needs so that the student can gain traction, master the subject matter and regain confidence in learning.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure that the student and teacher fit is a good one and to stick with the tutoring for more than just a few sessions. Be clear about what support you need and your likes and dislikes about the subject material and how you learn best.
