About
Hi Everyone! My name is Abraham and I am a recent graduate of UW Seattle. I have been unofficially tutoring since my time in high school, helping my younger brother and his peers with their math and science classes for years. I am new to professional tutoring but I hope I can bring my skills to anyone who needs help!
I am really easy to work with and have experience working with a wide variety of students, I used to be a skiing instructor:)
Whether you work best by working through practice questions and getting immediate feedback, or by having concepts explained in a way that teachers just can’t, I am here to help you succeed in a wide variety of subjects. I have a flexible schedule and I encourage you to reach out so that I may help with anything that has been giving you trouble in school.
I really love watching a student succeed in a concept that was previously giving them trouble. My favorite aspect about math and science work was watching everything come together after struggling with a concpet

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I belive getting an idea for how the student works through problems helps me to better cater lessons to their individual needs. I like to have students bring me some problems from their classes and we work through them together so I can identify where they need help. Of course, this is for students who just need general help. If you have specific questions or areas where you need help, I am happy to begin there from the start!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a very successful student during my time at Bellevue High School. I was ranked 13th out of 411 students in my class and I received the National AP Scholar award. (Average AP score of at least 4 and a score of 4 on at least 8 exams) I have always loved math and science and I think my understanding of those subjects translates well into helping others. Whether you need a weekly wrap up of concepts learned in class, or a one-time test prep session, I am happy to help you succeed.
I was an excellent math student throughout my time at Bellevue High School. I have always enjoyed math and have succeeded in all subjects, including Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, pre-calculus and AP Calculus. Completing AP Calculus AB during my junior year, with a 5 on the AP test. Went on to do both Advanced Calculus and AP Statistics during my senior year.
Ive always enjoyed science classes. I took as many as I could. My sophomore year I took both chemistry and AP Physics B. (AP Physics B is no longer an offered course, it has been split into two separate year-long courses, AP Physics 1&2) I received a 5 on the AP Physics B Exam. My junior year I took both AP Physics C and AP Biology, receiving a 5 on both exams. I ended my high school career with AP Chemistry.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge using an hourly rate and am very flexible with scheduling. If you need just 30 minutes of help or 3 hours before a large exam, I am happy to help. I do ask that we discuss the timing and pricing before beginning any lesson.
