What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I will do an assesment on this person personality and skills to determine how I need to help teach them. Next is determining what type of math they are doing and how they were taught in the first place. My goal is not to just help teach math, my goal is to help people get through their mental blockings in order to understand it.
