Hello! My name is Brett and I'm an adjunct professor at North Carolina Central University where I teach online classes in statistics and psychology. As a current statistics professor and former engineering major in undergrad, I specialize in teaching all math and some science courses from k-12 and into college. I live in Salt Lake City and am open to online or in-person tutoring sessions! My goal as a tutor is to ensure students understand concepts at a foundational level so much so that they end up loving math and science just as much as I do!

I am currently a math teacher at a 6-12 charter school. I have experience teaching every math class from 6th grade through Math III, specializing in Geometry and Math II. I work at a school with a high special education population and am used to working with students with varying educational needs. I am a middle school teacher at heart! Who knew?! I have been teaching 7th -secondary 2 for the past 5 years and have loved this age group. Last year I did help with some 1st grade intervention, but my strengths are in the middle school range. I have been tutoring middle school and some high school students and it has been successful for all students and myself. We provide homework help, test prep, and improving math skills through a customized learning plan based on the needs of the student. Each session is 1 hour in length. After a FREE assessment, we'll put together a customized learning plan and schedule of sessions for each student. We typically meet in person at our tutoring center, but we can also do session online or a combination of both.
