About
We are privately owned and we hire disabled tutors who need work and wouldn’t otherwise be able to work due to bias in the Tutor world. Our staff are intelligent people ready to help you learn whatever you need help with.
I love teaching kids but what I love more is when you look at their face and you see that they finally got it. It’s rewarding in itself.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Build a rapport and run them through a level test so I know where to start them. I work from the level shown in the exam up so that they have a proper foundation built.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been to school at Sinclair Community College for Medical Massage Therapy for three years, Culinary arts. I went to Johnson and Wales Miami for Business Management and Portland State for my Bachelors of Science in Social Science based in Criminal Justice, sociology and psychology as well as international globalism.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $15 an hour. This is our standard rates as we are a completely online business and we are all disabled and happy to be helping and working. Most companies see us and worthless and I opened this company to give everyone a job regardless of disability. If you can teach a class, I will hire you.
How did you get started teaching?
I was a special ed teacher after high school.
What types of students have you worked with?
Special Education, jocks, and a whole rainbow of students.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am fond of my search of an online job and realizing how discriminatory online tutor jobs really are. It gave me the chance to open Teddy Bear Tutors.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Pay attention to prices. Stay away from super high and super low prices. 15-25 dollars is about right.
