Annie S. says, "My child has taken Mr. Vidal's tutoring class for a few years. Mr. Vidal is very knowledgeable in areas of AP calculus AB/BC, physics and Chemistry, etc. He is always very kind and patient in accommodating my child's specific needs and inspiring her to excel. He is willing to take extra time to meet and discuss the needs, to understand the child, and then come up with a concrete plan to help the student, which is very comprehensive and it is far beyond my expectation. My child is currently taking AP Chemistry tutoring class from Mr. Vidal. I am confident that with Mr. Vidal's tutoring, my child is able to succeed in this very challenging class. Anyone who has ever met me has suggested that I become a teacher. I’ve always had a very logical response: “No, I would rather not spend the rest of my life in a school.”. Now I have spent several years working as a substitute for our local school district, tutoring students and teaching in a preschool. I am so happy to help students succeed and I have found the greatest successes come when students are met where they are academically. When students have access to individual guidance and teaching that suits their learning style they are more likely to not only absorb new information, but retain it and understand better what they are learnin

My situation was unique. I had serious epileptic seizures during high school resulting in multiple brain surgeries and a long, challenging recovery. Matt entered my life during this time; I still had assignments to complete before graduation and an impending SAT exam, so I met with Matt twice a week and learned the essential concepts of writing and reading comprehension. While math was my strong suit, Matt helped me identify some earlier math concepts that needed refreshing. My initial SAT score prior to my relationship with Matt was 1260, but, after tutoring, I received a 1510 and was accepted by my school of choice for pre-med studies. I continue to meet with Matt two or three times per week during my undergraduate studies for more advanced writing strategies. I cannot imagine a better academic mentor than I have found with Matt.

Mary Jo is exactly what my child needs. She is able to meet him just where he is (which changes day to day), motivates him to learn and grow, provides him with so many different ways of learning and different activities to keep him engaged. Her energy is amazing and she is obviously doing this because she cares about children and is excited herself to see them learn and improve. We are so lucky to have her helping our son.

We hired Susan to help our daughter Caidyn with Geometry. Susan made her feel comfortable and worked hard to make sure she understood her lessons. Susan was flexible with her time when Caidyn needed extra help to get through her work. Caidyn's grade went up significantly because of the help she got. If we need help again in the future, we will definitely hire Susan.

My daughter had to write a pre-algebra test in a few days and I was concerned she was struggling. I contacted SoFlo online, expressed my concern and in spite of the tight schedule they moved things around to accommodate my daughter. I witnessed the session and it’s the best thing since sliced bread. I love the teaching method, and that my daughter was offered multiple methods to solve the same problem. I recommend SoFlo highly!
