About
I have been tutoring since 2011 in multiple subjects. I earned by Bachelors of Science in Environmental Chemistry and a Bachelors of Arts in International Studies. I also have a Masters of Education and am passionate about helping students succeed. I am most practiced in tutoring math and science, but I am also accomplished in Spanish tutoring and other humanities.
Even if I am not as accomplished in another subject, I am a fast learner and strive to help no matter what!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will determine what type of tutoring the student needs, whether it be test prep, homework help, or general studying, then create a plan of action with the student. We will agree on a schedule and a plan together andupdate it as often as necessary.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters of Education from the Unviersity of Southern California and have a background of tutoring and teaching. I currently work at the University of Portland as an advisor and instructor to first year engineering students.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I usually charge $30-40 per hour, however if I need to drive a long distance to the student, this fee will increase accordingly. I like to agree on a price with the student and family before committing.
How did you get started teaching?
I was a tutor during high school as a side job, then when I attended college at Oregon State University, I was hired as a tutor to student athletes for 2 years. I loved this so much that I went on to receive my Masters in Education.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with middle school and high school students, college student athletes, and other college students.
