I have always loved teaching but first and foremost, I love learning. I am very passionate about helping students to become learners who love learning as much as do. I believe that good teachers teach but great teachers teach students how to teach themselves.

I have been teaching and tutoring since highschool. I began early because young children in my neighborhood were lacking basic skills to succeed and excel in academics. I was fortunate to have good teachers, tutors, and parents in my lifetime and I want to be that resource for someone also.

I have been tutoring for almost 20 years. I have a Bachelors Degree in Interdisplinary Studies for Elementary Education K-8. I am currently an online English as Second Language (ESL) teaching with certifications in TEFL and TESOL.
