I am a recently retired special education teacher from Beavercreek Schools in Ohio who worked primarily with middle school students in the mild to moderate disability category. We are a highly rated school and are known for our special education programs. I have taught and tutored students with and without disabilities in reading, writing, math through Algebra 1 , and American History, and I am qualified in the K-12 curriculum. I enjoy the one on one tutoring and have great relationships with my students who still contact me years after teaching them. I’m a current college student at Grand Canyon University Online, studying youth ministry and counseling, but throughout high school I worked with K-5 students on reading and writing and I really enjoyed it, I’m also currently enrolled as a preschool teacher! I love to get to know each student individually as well as get to know their personal goals. I will provide different teaching styles for different kids, as everyone is different and learns at their own pace. I welcome parent feedback and will alter my methods based on parental goals as well!
