Michal is a professional math tutor with six years of private tutoring experience in person and online. Michal has a bachelor’s degree from Wellesley College and a master’s degree from NYU. Michal’s approach to tutoring focuses on conceptual understanding above rote memorization. Students who work with Michal consistently find that their confidence and grades go up.

Michal is certified to teach secondary math in Connecticut, but prefers to work with students one-on-one. She enjoys the direct interaction with students, and finds that the immediate feedback between teacher and student allows for maximum learning.
