My son was less than thrilled with being "forced" to meet with a math tutor for the first time and he definitely let me know it. An hour later, he returned with a smile on his face. Not only did he never complain again, but he came to me all on his own to schedule time with Mr S. whenever he felt like he needed some help. He was able to improve his grade and learned some valuable test taking techniques.

My son, who is in the 8th grade, was for the first time ever, struggling in math. The struggle came from the way in which the current curriculum was being presented in class. (whether by design or not). Bryn is the life preserver that kept my son from drowning in algebraic equations. He is an awesome tutor! He is patient, very relatable, and holds my son accountable for his work. My son is enjoying math again and he and is very proud that he can be engaged in classroom discussions often times having the ability to offer some assistance to his peers. I highly recommend Bryn and Shurbutt's Math Tutoring.

Mr. Shurtbutt is a great teacher. My daughter learned a lot from him. Very dedicated and always available for questions. I highly recommend him.

He was very easy to understanding and was flexible with me. He also was a good tutor since he would solve any problem while explaining why it was right. He would keep on trying till the student understood.
