About
First, I am a classroom teacher who clearly understands when students struggle with math. I am also a caring adult who wants to see each student succeed. I know how important it is that students have someone they can depend on when they need assistance.
I have been a miidle school math teacher for more than five years and have been a math tutor in North Carolina since 1995. I have taught in both Wake and Durham counties.
I am a licensed middle grades math teacher.
I am retired engineer having worked 33 years for the IBM Corporation before becoming a teacher.
I enjoy teaching students to improve their math problem solving skills and also, show how this relates to students making good decisions in general.
