Hi! I'm Shelbra, Founder of Sarai Tutorial & Enrichment Program, Inc. (STEP, Inc.) ~ "Producing scholars one S.T.E.P. at a time."

With 30+ years' experience in tutoring and teaching all ages and several levels of math, I am a NC Certified and Licensed Homeschool Educator and former NC college instructor, also with special needs experience. My experience also includes online teaching and tutoring in various math courses. I offer math tutoring in all levels of math, to include elementary, middle, high school, post-secondary, & adult education.

While Math is my specialty, I have the same number of years' experience in tutoring Reading & Writing, English & Language Arts (ELA), and proficient in Grammar and ESL. My extremely flexible schedule allows for morning, afternoon, and evening hours as well as online options.

I have my MEd in Educational Leadership, BA in Mathematics with concentration in Statistics and minor in Economics, and AA in Liberal Arts Education.

Education is my passion! Experience in private, public, charter, and homeschool settings, colleges, and universities has given me exposure to all teaching and learning styles. Teaching methods will include your chosen or assigned curriculum, supplemented with additional strategies and teaching styles that accommodate your independent learning style.
