About
I love helping students gain confidence for the test they are dreading. Sometimes, students are not given the right tools, support, and teaching style to allow them to succeed. I like working with each individual and figuring out what learning style helps them learn most comfortably and effectively.
I have tutored students from high school Freshmen to college Juniors in a variety of math subjects.
I obtained a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wyoming, and an Associates in Mathematics through Sheridan College.

I truly enjoy giving students the tools they need to succeed. I love being able to sense when a student comprehends a subject they previously thought impossible.
I enjoy providing support for students when they are struggling and helping them overcome learning obstacles.
I like to keep an open environment where the student feels free to ask any questions that come to mind.

How did you get started teaching?
As a student in college, I knew that I could use my mathematical aptitude as well as my desire to help others succeed to help pay for schooling.
What types of students have you worked with?
Freshmen in highschool to Juniors in college.
Pre-Algrebra to Calculus III.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The birth of my six month old son (he wasn't six months when he was born!)
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure they are able to teach compatibly with your learning style. Also, make sure they are open to questions you ask and they answer them clearly.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What resources do I have to help me succeed before I pay somebody to teach me?
Am I here to learn, or just have somebody complete my assignment for me? Most tutors (myself included) prefer to teach, not help complete assignments. I hope to help you with your assignments, and to leave with the critical thinking skills and knowledge you need to succeed.
