I provide effective, honest tutoring services at an affordable rate. By cutting out the middleman, and cutting out the slick marketing, I save my clients money while making sure that their hard work pays off. I believe strongly that there are no quick fixes, no secret tips, and no propietary method that can replace the hard work and dedication of the student and their parents. My job is to make sure that you work smarter, with a focus on the areas where you can most benefit.
I have 4 years experience tutoring almost every STEM subject under the sun -- and some that have never seen the light of day-- and a 3.90 GPA in one of the most difficult engineering programs in the state.
I love the "Aha!" moment when a student finally understands something that they've been struggling with.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to interview, sometimes over email, both the student and any parents so that I thoroughly understand 1.) all learning goals 2.) any potential obstacles. I also take that opportunity to make sure everyone is on the same page, in tutoring philosophy and expectations.
Then, in the first session, I give a series of problems or questions to gauge the student's exact level, allowing me to customize their experience.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently studying Chemical Engineering with a 3.9+ GPA, and I have been tutoring students in college level mathematics for 4 years.

I charge no less than 30 bucks an hour, and will typically charge less per hour for students who can commit to a longer term relationship.
