I am an experienced substitute teacher and Math tutor. Before becoming a professional tutor, I spent a number of years tutoring my friends and neighbors. I am very proud to watch as my tutees receive their diplomas and degrees before moving on in their careers. As a professional tutor I am willing (and able) to tutor in person or virtually. Most of my work is done on site (at a school), but I have also worked in the tutee’s home. I have a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh and I’m more than capable of assisting you with your Algebra and Geometry problems.

I recently graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park, with a major in Civil Engineering. I earned an A grade in my math classes. Additionally, I had the opportunity to tutor an elementary school student in ESOL and math for an entire academic year.

I've been teaching for more than 20 years as a public school teacher, operating math and SAT preparation camps in the summer, and tutoring after school. I've taught everything from general math to AB/BC Calculus. I believe that all students can learn math.
