Jim The Math Tutor

I've been tutoring math since 2016, both on-line and in person (until COVID), everything from middled school math up to Calculus, occasionally Calculus 3 or abstract Algebra. I have a degree in mathematics from a college that has unfortunately closed and a 2004 MBA from Baker University. Best part of tutoring is the good response from students when the finally "get" a topic with which they were struggling: "wow, that explanation makes it a lot easier." I have a 4.8 out of 5 star ranking from one of the tutoring matching companies with which I currently work. I'm pretty good at determining why students are having problems with math and showing them what they need to do to correct the situation and also generally know more than one way to solve a problem.
