Hello, my name is Donny Papin. I have been a Wichita Public Schools algebra/geometry teacher for 10 years. Prior to that I worked for Wichita State University’s Trio program where I served 7 years as tutor and curriculum coordinator. I enjoy helping students learn and become self sufficient. There’s beauty in struggling and I believe students retain information when the overcome “productive struggle.” I like to use real world or relatable analogies and visuals to help students understand. I also believe discourse is the most efficient and effective way to master content.

I've been tutoring math since 2016, both on-line and in person (until COVID), everything from middled school math up to Calculus, occasionally Calculus 3 or abstract Algebra.
