About
Hello! My name is Hannah and I have been tutoring math- primarily Algebra- for 7 years. I tutor students of varying ages and learning disabilities (such as dyslexia or dyscalclia), as well as those who just need old concepts refreshed in their minds :) I have two-years at Wichita State University and some courses at Friends University under my belt, and have worked as a bank teller and accounting clerk. I love the practical applications of math and showing my students how they can be used. Numbers are my passion and I hope to help every student see the usefullness of them :)

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
-Help them relax: ask them about what they like in school, what their passions are, etc.,
-Assess their struggles/fears/stengths relating to the subject
-Talk about their educational or job-related goals and how the subject might be useful to them to reach their goals in the real world
-Make math as familiar and lighthearted as possible :)
