I have a Bachelor's degree in General Studies - Chemistry with a minor in Psychology from Wichita State University and I have a Doctorate degree. I have 10 years plus experience tutoring students ranging in age from 6 to 26 years old. Throughout my years of tutoring I have learned that each student learns at a different pace, and each student learns differently; whether they are visual learners, auditory learners, or learn best via unconventional methods. I tailor my way of teaching to meet the needs that works best for each student.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I would ask them a few questions to figure out what they are struggling with subject and learning wise. Figure out if they are having problems understanding the material, need a help retaining the material, or if they have test anxiety and are bad at take exams. Then I will examine the situation to understand what type of learner they are, then tailor my tutoring to best fit the student's needs!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's degree in General Studies - Chemistry with a minor in Psychology from Wichita State University and I have a Doctorate degree. I learned college algebra in 5th grade and graduated high school with 12 college credits. Five of those credits were from AP Calculus. I have tutored via facetime in years past. By the end of the class, my students had a greater understanding of the material and aced their classes.
