About
Hello! My name is Jacob! I am 15 years old, and I love to help people. Ever since I've been in school, my teachers have relied on me to help other kids out with their assignments, and I have decided to extend my helping hand to other regions of Indiana. I believe I can be valuable to your or your child's education, because I am still currently in highschool, and I feel like I can connect with you, therefore producing better results in your education.
Again, I love to help people. If I can make even the smallest difference in someone's life, then I am all for it. I know a little act of kindness goes a long way, so that is what I hope to do with this account. I want to help you learn!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My biggest philosophy is always knowing the student. I don't believe in a full-proof curriculum that will work for every student, because everyone learns differently. So once I get a sense of where that student is in terms of their education, I will then assess what might be the best way to teach them. After that, I will make lessonplans for that student and help them along their way to a great education.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My standard rate is 15 dollars for every 30 minute session. If you would like to schedule hour-long sessions, I will charge only 25$.
Please note* Your education is most important to me. I will not stop teaching until we are both sure you're comfortable with the material taught, and the assignments given.
How did you get started teaching?
Again, I have done really well in school during my careers at Discovery Middle School, and so far at Penn High Scool. I like to help others, and my hope is that I can do that through this platform. :)
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Never let money stop you from learning. I know that I am willing to work with individual students on payment plans, so always reach out, whether it be me, or any other tutor.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
A little confidence in yourself goes a long way. Always ask your teacher how you can improve your performance in the class. Most of the time, they will be more than willing to set up a plan with you to get you back on track. Then, if you still think you need extra help outside of school, contact a tutor
