Tutoring sessions are highly interactive as I engage the student in thoughtful reasoning and analysis. I stretch the student's thinking. And make it enjoyable. I use techniques and methods honed over ten years teaching math to middle school and high school students.
Two aspects of learning are critical: understanding of underlying concepts and good study and test prep skills.
As a tutor, I combine these together to help my students increase understanding and knowledge, improve study habits and build confidence. I am adept at accommodating personal learning styles.
I specialize in high school Math subject

I will make sure that my students understand each and every concept that they are stuck on before we move on. I am a firm believer that anyone can become great at math; it is only a question of practice and deep-level of understanding. I will go out of my way to prepare materials including practice sheets and concept review study guides so that my students can understand everything in a crystal clear manner.
I work hard to make sure I tutor the way my student learns! Not everyone retains information the same way and therefore should not be taught the same way! I believe the only thing people can't take from you is what you know, therefore I am constantly attempting to learn new things. I have 3 college degrees, have been teaching special education on the middle and high school level for 5 years, am a mother of 5 and am specialized in adapting educational plans to fit the students needs. I am not returning to teaching in the schools this year. I am currently an entrepreneur, babysitter and tutor.

I don't consider myself *just* a tutor, but a mentor as well. Knowing how to work through problems is of pivotal importance for a tutor, but building relationships with students is just as important! I aim to inspire students to learn and provide them with the confidence they need to pursue their learning without worrying that it may be too difficult for them.
As a first generation student that achieved academic excellence in our nation's broken and under-funded public school system, to now having the privilege to currently attend Notre Dame Law School, it is very clear why education places a huge role in my life. As an academic tutor in the various companies I've worked for part/full-time I have served over 200 students at the very least. I am passionate about education and genuinely enjoy helping and watching my students as they learn to become confident in their ability to excel academically and gain a sense of self-empowered.

I’m a math major at Northwestern University with experience tutoring for both standardized tests and academic coursework.
I also served as a teaching assistant (TA) in Highland Park High School’s math department, where I helped create curriculum and worked one-on-one with students in a Pre-Calculus Advanced course.
As a current undergraduate, I relate well to other students and have developed meaningful strategies to best prepare for tests and quizzes.

Having elementary, middle, and high school contact for the past 16 years makes my experience unique. Currently still teaching informally and mentoring which helps keep me current. Happy to meet you where you are and meet students where they are intellectually. Love to laugh and love to learn!!
I started teaching over 25 years ago and have experience teaching math from 7th grade through college calculus. I am a past recipient of both a Lilly Teacher Creativity Fellowship and Milken National Educator Award.
It's important to me that students improve their mathematical thinking and not just memorize algorithms and "recipes." That will build a better foundation for future learning and success in mathematics.
Hello! My name is Jacob! I am 15 years old, and I love to help people. Ever since I've been in school, my teachers have relied on me to help other kids out with their assignments, and I have decided to extend my helping hand to other regions of Indiana. I believe I can be valuable to your or your child's education, because I am still currently in highschool, and I feel like I can connect with you, therefore producing better results in your education.

We stand out from our innovative approaches to tutoring online and in-person.
Online Tutoring: Students can record their sessions to review services. Our platform saves tutoring notes for sessions so that they can continue their tutoring lesson instead of “restart” every session. Our services can be run on web browsers. Students can access the tutoring sessions on their computers and phones.
In-person Tutoring: We cater our tutoring base off of the manner that the students learn the subject. We don’t “force” our students to perform our methods of tutoring. We adapt our methods to fit the learning method of
