What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I typically try to understand their basic understanding of the topics that they've studied in the past and help them clear their basics. With a strong foundation, I believe students will never fear Mathmatics again!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a masters degree in Engineering which involved a lot of quantitative analysis and problem solving.
How did you get started teaching?
It started with teaching my younger brother and his friends who was scared of Matheatics at first. Slowly, I realised that the more I taught, the better I became in understanding the topics and teaching them.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with a different types of students, from students who needed academic help to brilliant students who I loved challenging everytime!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Don't be afraid to ask questions even if you think they are silly. It's the silly questions that make you better and with that understanding, you will gain immense self confidence!
