My business stands out because I have been in your shoes!
I once was the student that hated math! I didn't understand it made no sense! WHY!? Well, then my life changed because of one teacher who made the difference! She made it simple, easy and answered all my questions!
Due to her changing my beliefs with math, I grew to love it and excel at it! I knew then that I wanted to become a math teacher to help others the way she helped me!
I have spent 4 years in education! For two years I was at the elementary level teaching math and science to 3rd and 4th graders. I currently teach Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1 to Freshman!
I love what I do! I

I am a licenced math teacher, grades K - 9. I have worked with students of all ages and I have a passion for learning that is unmatched. I love helping students reach their full potential.
I have extensive experience tutoring students of all ages from as young as first grade to upperclassmen in high school. I even established a tutoring program in my old high school that helped tutor one-hundred students. Though I have the most experience in Mathematics, specifically Algebra I & II and Geometry, I have worked in English and the Social Sciences as well and I have taken advanced and honors classes in many of my subjects and tested exceptionally well in them.
Furthermore, I have a true passion for educating students and helping them reach their goals. As much as my services are an academic aid, I also believe that I impact a s

Prior experience in either tutoring or in teaching is highly recommended when seeking out a math tutor. I have been teaching Algebra for many years already. With my experience, I will be able to help you learn about math in no time. Contact me for details.
I believe in going above and beyond for my students. I take the time to understand my students' learning styles and then constantly adjust my teaching methods to make sure my learners are getting the most out of their experience with me. I also make sure I accommodate my learners and their needs.
A large part of what makes math unapproachable is the lack of access to the basic principles and the "picture" that hides behind the tangle of symbols. The symbols are just shorthands for something deeper, and unfortunately, even at a college level, students may focus too much on the symbols and the rules, and very little on what's really at play and how much more math is than just a bunch of puzzles. A concept *should* be boring and it *should* only makes partial sense until it clicks. But once it does, each area of mathematics is an exciting, eye-opening experience- it adds a higher definition to one's view of how our world works. In fact,

I'm a high school student and I'm having an advanced level in math. I have finished both AP Calculus AB&BC when I was a 9th grader. Also, when I was in 7th and 8th grader, in South Korea, I was in a math&science specialized school for gifted which was run by the government. I took AP Calculus AB and got 5 on it but haven't taken BC yet. My grade for AP Bio, AP Physics C were A or A-. Also, I like math and compare to other people who only teach you techniques and formulas, I'll help you to understand how to understand the questions from what you have learned. I can help you to expand your mathematic+scientific thoughts and later then,

I enjoy mathematics, but the ability to connect with youth has kept me in the profession. Helping students feel confident in their math skills and their conceptual understanding is my main priority.

I have a university-level teaching position and 3 years of teaching experience. I have completed a Certificate in Informatics from Indiana University and will complete a Bachelor's degree in the Spring of 2022. My position involves a great deal of one-on-one interaction with students and demands the ability to effectively explain complex topics to accommodate a variety of learning styles.
I have always been fascinated with math. I remember calculating change faster than the cashier at a McDonalds for the first time at age 7. I enjoy teaching others and reaching students that other tutors can't. I tutored students taking calculus while I was 19 years old. Although I didn't pursue a full-time career in math, it is something I have a deep passion for. I believe that an effective tutor should have a variety of experience in different areas in order to relate to all kinds of people. Everyone brings a different set of experiences with them, and I strive to teach in a way that makes a difficult subject actually seem somewhat enjoyabl

Mathematics has a reputation for being abstract; this leads to students underestimating the amount of areas in their life math can be applied to. However, if they're able to understand the material concretely, the applications to various parts of life become apparent.
I am currently a third year university student majoring in mathematics at Indiana University.
I have taken advanced courses, including Multivariate Calculus, Probability Theory, and Modal Logic, but I also have experience tutoring friends and peers through a wide range of difficulty of subjects. I know all about the 'curse of knowledge' and focus more on improvement that standar
